Prof. Kersh gave two talks in February. The first was at the Danish Bone Research Workshop where she summarized our work in multi-scale bone mechanics with bone histomorphometry gurus Thomas Andersen and Christina Andreasen as well as micro-CT wizard Jesper Thomsen.
Back in Illinois, Prof. Kersh gave the February TechTalk at the Beckman Institute describing our use of the Visualization Lab which includes developing high-resolution finite element models from computed tomography data.
In both of these talks, the work presented was done by TBL alumnus Lydia Bakalova and current graduate students Sara Moshage, Hyunggwi Song, and Liz Livingston. Great job team!
