Recent PhD graduate, Chenxi Yan, and co-authors recently published a portion of his PhD work in Bone. This paper analyzed strain distribution in the tibia during multi-directional basketball activities and found that sprinting and lateral cut maneuvers generate the highest strains in the tibia.
